TEGUCIGALPA, April 9 (Xinhua) -- The 9th Summit of Heads of State and Government of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) opened Wednesday in Tegucigalpa, the capital of Honduras, with more than a dozen regional leaders participating.
During the summit, Honduras will present its report as outgoing holder of CELAC's rotating presidency, which will be handed over to Colombia.
The leaders are expected to adopt the "Tegucigalpa Declaration," a document aimed at guiding political and economic integration across Latin America and the Caribbean.
