Santiago, 24th March, 2025 (WAM) -- A magnitude 5.5 earthquake struck near the coast of central Chile on Monday, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said.

The quake was at a depth of 57 km (35.42 miles), GFZ said.
